What are the dates and locations for the wedding events?

The wedding is on May 17th with a private family traditional ceremony done a few days before. Both events will be held in Uyo, Nigeria, and live-streamed online.
Will transportation or accommodation be provided for guests?

Yes! There will be arrangements for transportation and accommodation for guests, particularly for those traveling in for the event.
Can we post on social media?

As we want to announce our wedding ourselves, we kindly ask that you refrain from posting any photos or details about the wedding on social media until we’ve had the opportunity to share the news first.

However, after we have announced, please feel free to post and repost to celebrate with us.

What's the dress code for the events?

We want you to feel comfortable and stylish. For our wedding events, we suggest:

Traditional ceremony: Nigerian glamorous owambe. Feel free to come in your beautiful native attires, asoebi laces, and agbada.

Wedding ceremony: Nigerian glamorous owambe / black tie for men. Colorful black tie / summer formal attire for women. Think bold, colorful, elegant, evening dresses with fascinators.

What are the colors of the day?

We would like for you to wear whatever colors work best for you. For the traditional ceremony, if you'd like a color guide, feel free to choose outfits in shades of chocolate brown, champagne, peach, or navy blue.

How can we access the live stream for the wedding ceremony?

Streaming details for all locations will be shared on this website closer to the date. Make sure to follow the Instagram page for updates.
When is the RSVP deadline?

The RSVP deadline is April 1, 2025 to enable us finalize plans in time for the best guest experience.
Can I bring a plus-one?

Please include any plus-ones you might have in the RSVP form.
What time will the reception end?

The reception should be over before 8pm.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? What will the weather be like?

All wedding events will be indoors. May in Uyo is warm with temperatures ranging from 73°F (22.8°C) to 87°F (30.4°C). It's also really close to the rainy season, so there could be light rain showers around that time, however, this should not impact the events or logistics in any way.
Are we allowed to take photos and record videos at the wedding?

Absolutely! Take as many photos and videos as you like during the wedding. When you share them on social media, please use our hashtag and tag us so we can enjoy them too!

Can we contribute any special wishes or gifts to the couple?

Sure! Feel free to leave your wishes for the couple using the hashtag on the event day or in the guestbook at the wedding. For those who wish to contribute to our journey with a gift, we appreciate the kindness and have shared our account details for cash gifts on the Gifts page. 

Please we will not be receiving physical gifts and will appreciate it if you could convert and monetize all gifts.
